The Coalition for Independent Living Options, Inc. (CILO) is private, non-profit 501 (c) (3) agency. Our mission is to "Promote Independence for People with Disabilities". As a civil rights organization, we promote equal rights and full inclusion of people with disabilities.

Incorporated in 1990, CILO serves children and adults with any disability in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties.

As a Center for Independent Living, CILO adheres to the independent living philosophy, which stands for the proposition that people with disabilities have a right to self-determination and to make choices in their own lives. Services are consumer-directed. Staff will work with the consumer to remove physical and attitudinal barriers in the community.

CILO provides the following four core services: Advocacy; Independent Living Skills; Information and Referral; and Peer Support.

In addition, we also provide crime victim assistance, disability awareness & sensitivity trainings, adaptive equipment on loan, voter registration, after-school and summer programming for teens , meal delivery in some areas, financial literacy and budgeting workshops, and assistance in applying for public benefits.
